About
My name is Gillian and I have a lemon tree. That’s me to the left wearing pink pants and holding a tray of pastries that I did not bake. My lemon tree is that burst of yellow over my right shoulder.
I also have a lime tree, a meyer lemon tree, a tangerine tree, a valencia orange tree, a navel orange tree, a fig tree and an avocado tree. I live in Los Angeles and these things aren’t uncommon here.
i.have.a.lemon.tree is an attempt to utilize and chronicle my backyard bounty. If you would like to share a recipe or an idea, email me at ihavealemontree (at) gmail (dot) com.

Gillian!
Your blog is beautiful.
My friend Laura directed me here, and I’m so glad she did.
Looking forward to more citrus stories.

It was great to meet you today! I am looking forward to some of the photos you snapped and a possible re-cap. Try to come to the AUFM next week! I am not sure you got your packet of seeds from me…I would love to have you come by the nursery! (Pasadena) Your blog is absolutely beautiful.
Best,
Nysha
Your blog is beautiful, Gillian! Look forward to seeing your posts from Delilah’s canning class in Altadena. You need to join facebook so I can become a fan! Hooray!
Hi Gillian! My friend Donna told me about your lemon tree predicament. Love the blog. And I feel your pain; I have three lemon trees, two orange trees, a tangerine tree, and a sort of sweet lemon tree. My friend just told me that the Food Bank downtown has started accepting fresh produce from the public. So just incase you can’t blog fast enough there is always that alternative.:)
